Mark’s classes are open to anyone who wants to learn how to draw. All examples are botanical in nature and Mark discusses botanical drawing. All Artist’s Brain courses are five-week courses, however students may take as long as they need. Once registered in a class, students can always ask a for critique of their assignments, no matter how long it takes them to complete their work. Mark began teaching traditional botanical art classes online in Spring 2010.

The Minnesota School of Botanical Art was founded by Marilyn Garber. The school’s website has a refreshing design and is a treat to visit. Vera owns Arakunem Arts LLC and leads Project Art for Nature, a collaboration of artists and illustrators from Minnesota and Wisconsin who bring attention to fragile natural areas.
