I've received questions about the bundling of the book and the Q&A. This author event is like an in-store author event where you would purchase a book and meet the author (only in this case, the event comes to you). Purchasing the book reserves you a seat at the live Q&A. Total cost is $40 (plus shipping).

[...] Tania of ArtPlantae is excited to announce a special live online Q&A session with Sarah Simblet, author of Botany for the Artist, a book that introduces botanical terminology and concepts to aspiring or established artists who want to better understand their subjects (just like Renaissance painters would dissect dead bodies to better understand musculature and the shape of the human form, so too will understanding more about plants help you in portraying them in your art - and if you read this book, no dissecting is required).
